“Musica”, la più antica rivista di musica classica italiana, oggi compie 45 anni.
La storica pubblicazione di Zecchini editore è diretta dal 2014 da Nicola Cattò, che è anche segretario generale degli International Classical Music Awards (ICMA), il più importante premio musicale europeo che riunisce 19 media di 16 nazioni diverse, e che lo scorso 21 aprile ha tenuto il suo 11esimo galà alla Philharmonie del Lussemburgo.
L’Italia si è fatto valere con la vittoria di Julian Kainrath, violinista meranese neppure 17enne che ha suonato l’Introduzione e rondò capriccioso di Saint-Saëns, nella categoria Discovery Award, e quella del salernitano Gennaro Cardaropoli (Young Artist of the Year), che ha incantato il pubblico con il terzo movimento del Concerto per violino di Korngold.
I due italiani hanno suonato con l’Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg diretta da Adam Fischer, Lifetime Achievement 2022.
E poi Giulio Prandi ed Edgardo Rocha hanno eseguito un brano della Petite messe rossiniana, che ha permesso loro di vincere nella categoria Choral Music, mentre la categoria Opera ha visto il trionfo del Pirata inciso a Catania da Prima Classic.
