Sarà in Umbria la prima data del nuovo tour del Banco del mutuo soccorso, prodotto da Kino Music.
Quello per celebrare i 50 anni dei due primi e fondanti album usciti nel 1972.
Appuntamento all’auditorium San Domenico di Foligno, sabato 2 aprile (ore 21.15, prevendite online già attive su ticketitalia e ticketone) con la storica formazione, considerata punto di riferimento del rock progressive internazionale.
Il concerto fa parte del contenitore “Foligno musica”, la rassegna dell’Ati Parterre ideata da Athanor Eventi in collaborazione con il Comune di Foligno.
Il Banco del Mutuo Soccorso nasce nel 1970 sulla scia del movimento musicale “progressive rock”, dai tastieristi Vittorio Nocenzi e suo fratello Gianni.
Lo storico gruppo aveva pubblicato a fine 2019 un nuovo album in studio, “Transiberiana”, a 25 anni dall’ultimo lavoro.
Il 2019 aveva segnato quindi ricordano gli organizzatori del concerto umbro il ritorno definitivo del Banco, con la firma anche di un contratto con l’etichetta internazionale Inside Out Music del gruppo Sony Music.
Ora il 2022 vede il Banco impegnato in studio per ultimare la realizzazione del nuovo lavoro, un concept album che vedrà la luce alla fine del mese di settembre.
Già in primavera però, appena finalizzato il disco, la band inizierà proprio da Foligno un tour per celebrare i 50 anni di “Darwin” e “Il Salvadanaio”.
